The Supreme Court of Appeals and the Institute of Forensic Medicine held a meeting to increase institutional cooperation and knowledge-experience sharing. The meeting addressed judicial assessment processes for children and forensic-psychiatric evaluations concerning victims of sexual abuse and assault.
The Supreme Court of Appeals organized a symposium to evaluate developments regarding the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the judicial field. The event addressed algorithmic impact, decision-making, algorithmic bias, and risks of artificial intelligence in legal applications.
Supreme Court President Ömer Kerkez and his delegation discussed judicial cooperation among member countries of the Organization of Turkic States, digitalization of judicial processes, and the use of artificial intelligence in justice services at a conference held in Kazakhstan. A joint declaration was signed at the end of the meeting, and it was decided that the third conference would be held in the Kyrgyz Republic in 2027.
